The New York Transhumanist Party

The New York Transhumanist Party (NYTP) is the state's extension of the United States Transhumanist Party (USTP). With members from across New York as well as the political spectrum, the NYTP adopts a "big tent" approach to include Transhumanists from a variety of ideologies. This diverse membership naturally leads the party to take a unique approach to its internal affairs, values, use of resources, and other organizational matters.

To avoid the challenges faced by political parties that solely focus on electoral politics, the NYTP encourages its members to get involved in their local community in any manner they see fit. Aiming to drive change from the community level rather than solely through government channels.

The overall goal of the NYTP itself is to act as a hub for transhumanist politics within the state of NY, share information, opinions, or ideas, facilitate cooperation between transhumanists and other ideologies or political organizations, and work to build a broader transhumanistic movement that will bring a beneficial future for all people.
