The vote on a citizens' referendum is hereby closed by order of the Chairman of the New York Transhumanist Party [NYTP]! Following a recent and prolonged internal leadership issue that took place within the NYTP's leadership throughout late June and into early to mid-July. During this period, differing interpretations of leadership responsibility, roles, and member participation standards led to tensions between key figures in the organization. These unresolved disagreements ultimately created a situation where the referendum process could no longer continue in a unified or constructive manner. As a result, the Chairman has decided to shut down the vote entirely and withdraw the proposal from further consideration at this time. The NYTP appreciates the patience and understanding of its supporters and encourages continued engagement as it works to refine its organizational frameworks for future initiatives!
Ridiculous. I formally move to have a second vote on the issue of supporting citizen referendums in New York. Until Daud can explain to us what his objections are, and honestly what he thinks this vote is about as it’s unclear that he even understands the proposal, we must continue. We should start again on August 1st.
