NYTP "Meet-Up" Event

The NYTP is organizing a meet-up at a rooftop bar called "5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar" located on 560 7th Ave, New York, NY 10018 (on 7th Ave between W 40th St and W 41st St in Times Square). Both the date and time are still to be determined based on the input received!
As Blaze said this should be open to all NY state members via online participation. I would try for a Saturday afternoon to ensure ample attendance. Also, if attendance is small I think this central location is fine, but Brooklyn probably offers better, more comfortable venues for the price—Times Square is an onerous place to ask people to meet, it's loud, chaotic, and unsightly. If we did want to include online participation, someone with a large penthouse apartment, a less expensive private Brooklyn roof space, or something like that would better fulfill that aim.
Too bad this isn’t accessible to those of us outside of NYC. No online participation allowed either. Not exactly fighting the stereotype that people in NYC don’t care about the rest of us in the state.
